It’s been a LONG time since I have been able to attend a nice motorcycle event.  The London winter and a very nasty snowboarding accident both conspired to make sure I wouldn’t be doing much of anything outside of my flat in the first quarter of 2015.

But one of the coolest motorcycle shows on the planet happened in London last weekend and it has been my goal for months to be able to ride my motorcycle to The Bike Shed III motorcycle show. What makes this show special is it’s lack of corporate sponsorship, sure Triumph helps out but they keep it low key and it’s very nice in that regard. Hundreds of custom bikes from pro builders and backyard barns lined up next to each other.  Straight razor cuts, a cigar lounge and craft beers bring this bike show it’s unique hipster vibe. It’s not just about the bikes, but the lifestyle, that brings us all to this event.

It was incredibly crowded, more than expected, so getting clear shots of bikes was quite the chore! All the same, I feel that seeing the people around the bikes gives a better vibe of the experience that day. You truly are just wandering among some of the coolest and most unique bikes around. It made me feel great, and for the first time in a long time I felt 100% normal again.  Motorcycle life, I’m very happy to be back.
